CleanTech Lithium PLC is a Jersey incorporated, London-listed group with brine-based lithium assets in Chile.
The group’s focus, as an exploration and development company, is to advance sustainable lithium projects in Chile for the clean energy transition and electromobility. The group is using next generation Direct Lithium Extraction technology to efficiently extract lithium from brine and then reinject the brine back into the aquifer to minimise its footprint.
CleanTech was impressed by our middle market focus and approach to relationship building and valued working with a firm of advisers that can provide international, sector and local technical expertise.
91探花has been engaged by CleanTech since early 2022.
Our solution
The CleanTech group required an advisor to have knowledge of the reporting and tax compliance requirements across its relevant jurisdictions (Jersey, UK, Chile) and to provide that finance support service based on a hosted ERP, with local contact points and one overall escalation point.
In addition, and key for CleanTech, was the requirement to provide a multi-lingual, multi-disciplinary service capable of scaling as CleanTech’s own requirements expanded and became more sophisticated.
Our hosted Netsuite ERP has been implemented for the group, including Chile localisation allowing integration with the Chilean State’s own supplier invoice system.
We now provide an established outsourced finance function, to meet CleanTech’s accounting, payroll and tax compliance and advisory service needs variously for over two years. After some initial personnel changes in both organisations, the 91探花team is in steady state.
We work closely with the group financial controller across the group’s jurisdictions ensuring compliance in each territory and providing additional advice on a range of technical accounting and tax topics as these arise.
