Biography
Paul is a corporate tax partner based in our Birmingham office, providing transfer pricing and thin capitalisation advice to all clients in the Central and North West regions. Paul's aim is to provide robust transfer pricing solutions to clients’ issues in a pragmatic way.
With over 25 years’ experience working in Big 4 firms, for the majority of his career Paul has focussed on providing transfer pricing advice. Paul has supported clients of all sizes, including start-ups, AIM listed, Owner Managed Business, PE backed groups, listed entities and inbound groups. Paul also has experience working across many sectors, including automotive, aerospace, retail, technology and bio-tech. Paul provides support across all areas of transfer pricing, including TP design, implementation, documentation and controversy (including APA / Mutual Agreement Procedures and enquiry support).
In his role, Paul will support transfer pricing for all types of transaction, including product flows, management services, finance and intellectual property, thin capitalisation support (including ATCA [Advanced Thin Capitalisation Agreement]applications), permanent establishment reviews, Diverted Profits Tax support and also financial transfer pricing, including interest rate benchmarking, cash pooling and guarantee fees.
